If something helps me better understand people, I'm in.
I grew up in a family of musicians, where listening, curiosity, and creativity were simply part of everyday life. At the same time, I grew up living with chronic pain. Over the years I've experienced injuries, emotional challenges, burnout, grief, and plenty of moments where my body seemed to be speaking a language I didn't yet understand.
For most of my life, I've been asking one question:
How do we move through life with a little more ease?
That question has shaped both my personal life and my career.
I've been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2009, but my practice has never fit neatly into one style of treatment. Throughout my career I've explored a wide range of approaches to understanding the body, movement, the nervous system, and human behaviour. Every experience has added another perspective, another question, and another way of helping people.
As a result, no two treatments I offer are ever exactly the same.
Rather than following a formula, I listen first. Together, we'll figure out what your body is asking for and create an approach that makes sense for you. Sometimes that's hands-on manual therapy. Sometimes it's movement, nervous system regulation, education, or a simple conversation that helps connect the dots. More often than not, it's a thoughtful combination of all of them.
I don't believe our bodies are working against us. I believe they're doing their best to protect us.
The tension we carry, the habits we develop, and the ways we respond to stress often make perfect sense when we understand where they've come from. My role isn't to "fix" you. It's to help you build a healthier relationship with those patterns, so your body can gradually recalibrate toward greater comfort, resilience, and ease.
Outside the treatment room, I founded Wayfarer Wellness because I wanted to create the kind of place I'd always hoped existed—a wellness community that supports both the people seeking care and the people providing it. I love mentoring practitioners, building healthy workplaces, and helping people create careers and lives that feel sustainable.
Music has remained the other constant throughout my life. I've played music through out my entire life, have put bands together since I was 17, booked shows and tours over the years, have played in countless different styles of groups, and since 2016, I've had the privilege of touring as the bari sax player with Arkells.
Whether I'm on stage, in the clinic, or leading a team, I've realized I'm always doing the same thing: listening carefully, adapting, and helping people feel more connected.
Whether you've found your way here as a patient, a practitioner, or someone looking for guidance in your own journey, I'm glad you're here.
